In the article, we explore the ethics behind relocating with a child after a divorce and what is considered to be truly in the best interest of the child. Move-away requests are usually found in two different circumstances: either when one parent prior to custody order shares that they plan on moving or when a parent wants to modify the current custody order in place. We share different scenarios in which different perspectives on relocating might be given.
